Overview to the graphic standards
Fraternity logo guidelines
This page contains information about the individual elements of the fraternity logo, and other versions of the fraternity logos.
Elements of the logo
The pbs crop logo visually represents the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and consists of three elements: the fraternity Greek letters, four rule, and the fraternity name.

Evolution of the fraternity logo
The fraternity logo has been modified slightly in order to ensure that it renders consistently and legibly in all print and electronic communications products, including Web streaming and broadcast video, Web pages, and presentation programs such as PowerPoint.
Two versions of fraternity mark
There are two versions of the fraternity mark that may appear either alone or as part of the fraternity logo: one with the greek text and one without.

The fraternity mark without the text is known as the standard version.
All elements of the fraternity logo must remain as originally drawn and proportioned and cannot be modified.
The wordmark and the fraternity name are graphic elements, not type styles. Do not type any element of the campus logo for use in a sentence.
Official use only
No element of the fraternity logo may be used to promote non-fraternity activities or imply endorsement.
Flexibility
There are rare instances where these guidelines should be flexible. Designers working under unique circumstances should click here to contact us about design questions. All variances from this policy must be approved by Marco W. McMillian Executive Director.
